Two editors and a designer, since 2011.

We started because the books we wanted to read were getting turned down for being too small — not badly written, just not big enough to justify a marketing budget. That is still roughly what we publish.

How we work

Every book gets a structural edit, a line edit, and a proofread, and the author sees all three. We do not do accelerated schedules. A book takes about fourteen months from contract to shelf, and we tell authors that before they sign.

Distribution

Through the trade, in the usual way. Booksellers ordering direct should write to the address on the contact page.
